Student Allegory Movement (SAM) Awards 11-Year-Old Student for Academic Excellence
In a heartwarming ceremony held on the 26th of March at Rochas Foundation, the Student Allegory Movement (SAM) awarded a cash prize of 50 thousand naira to an exceptional student in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements.
The event took place during the morning assembly session, Bishop Laniyan, a Senior Associate member of SAM, introduced the movement’s aims and vision to the gathered students. Emphasizing the benefits of joining SAM, Bishop highlighted mentorship opportunities and academic assistance as key advantages. He urged students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits and encouraged them with a rendition of a motivational song “I know I can, I’ll be what I wanna be.”
Amidst anticipation, the winner of the Academic Award of Excellence was unveiled—an 11-year-old junior secondary student who had recently been promoted to senior secondary school. His remarkable achievement of securing 9 A’s in all subjects to advance to senior secondary level left his peers and teachers astounded.
Expressing gratitude, the young awardee,——- thanked the leadership of SAM, especially Pastor Peter Ilesanmi, for instituting such a meaningful initiative to bless the lives of students. He also extended appreciation to his teachers for their guidance and support.
Pastor Peter Ilesanmi, the Set Man of the commission, reiterated SAM’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding academic excellence among students. He blessed the students with words of knowledge and wisdom, inspiring them to continue striving for success.
The event organizers, including Oladimeji Opeyemi, Kayode Samuel, Boluwatife Jegede, Laniyan Bishop, Pastor Shade Peter-Ilesanmi, and Pastor Peter Ilesanmi, were warmly applauded and appreciated by the school principal and teachers for their efforts in organizing the event.

At Koneccc, a special day is set aside once a year called Pastor Appreciation Sunday, the 2024 edition happened on the 7th of April.
